The Hoang Lien Son mountain range, which is considered first among Vietnam’s “Four Great Passes,” the O Quy Ho pass, the Pu Sam Cap cave system, and the Sin Ho plateau are only a few of the attractions in the province of Lai Chau’s tourism potential and strengths. The province owns 6/10 of the highest mountains in the nation, including Pu Si Lung, Pu Ta Leng, and Bach Moc Luong Tu, which are covered in a sea of white clouds, flora, and azalea blooms in a myriad of hues. Lai Chau is a bridge between the well-known tourist locations of Sa Pa and Dien Bien Phu and has a rich history and culture that are distinct to 20 ethnic groups in addition to having abundant natural resources.
