Known as the “green gem” of the Northeast region, Cao Bang boasts famous natural landscapes and historical sites, including the majestic Ban Gioc Waterfall, the heroic Pac Bo historical site, the pristine Tran Hung Dao Primary Forest, Nguom Ngao Cave, the dreamy Thang Hen Lake, and more. Additionally, Cao Bang has been investing in modern infrastructure to attract tourists, such as the Cao Bang food market, Kim Dong pedestrian street, and Bang Giang riverfront pedestrian street. The province has been mobilizing resources to enhance socialization and invest in improving transportation infrastructure. Notably, key roads connecting tourist destinations and socio-economic centers are being developed, including the high-speed road linking Dong Dang (Lang Son) to Tra Linh (Cao Bang) with an investment of over 13,000 billion VND in the first phase. This road is part of the national transportation network connecting to international routes.
